For years, NFL scouts raved about Caleb Williams.
His ability to roll to his side, extend plays, and then hit his receivers in stride is remarkable for such a young player; it’s something you either have, or you don’t.
Notably, that has also led several experts and fans to compare him to Patrick Mahomes, who’s made a living out of that.
That’s why most people assumed Tyreek Hill was talking about him when he took to Twitter to state that Williams was ‘so nice’ and that he reminded him of someone he wouldn’t name.

Of course, there’s no animosity whatsoever between Hill and Mahomes.
Mahomes is a unique player, but you can definitely see some of his game in Williams’ game.

The connection between Williams and Rome Odunze could end up being as special as the one between Mahomes and Hill.
Hopefully, though, if that’s the case, the Chicago Bears will be able to keep them together for longer.
Williams is one of the most exciting prospects we’ve seen in years, and expectations have never been this high for a quarterback in the Windy City.
Still, people must be wary of the comparisons or expecting him to be the next Mahomes or something like that.
Williams, like Mahomes, is his own player, and he must make sure to just take some things from other players to build his very own repertoire and build his own path in the National Football League.
