The Miami Dolphins have one of the best wide receiver groups in the game.
Trading for Tyreek Hill was one of the boldest moves they’ve made in recent history, and it didn’t take long before it paid off.
Hill works tirelessly on his body and his craft, and his work ethic has never been put into question.
However, as crazy as it may seem, he’s not much of a film junkie.
Instead, the former Kansas City Chiefs superstar has a rather unorthodox way of getting ready for games.
In his latest press conference, Hill admitted that he doesn’t watch film at all, and he just hops on Madden to face the team he’s going to play next game to take a look at the cornerbacks that will guard him (via Ari Meirov).
Tyreek Hill says he doesn’t watch film. Instead, he plays Madden the night before a game to check the ratings of the cornerbacks he’ll be facing.
“I see their awareness, speed and strength – and that’s how I get a good tell on them.”

Hill takes an in-depth look at their traits, focusing mostly on their awareness, speed, and strength to know what he’s going to have to deal with in the game.
Say whatever you want to say about his tactics, but it’s clear they work.
Some people claimed that he wouldn’t be able to post the same kind of numbers without Patrick Mahomes throwing his way, and he responded by hauling in 119 receptions for 1,710 yards (both career highs), averaging 14.4 yards per catch and logging seven touchdowns as well.
Hill is a special kind of talent and — clearly — a savvy guy who knows how to get the best out of every matchup he faces, even if his methods aren’t the most orthodox.
