Will he be healthy or not?

That is the question that all Los Angeles Clippers fans are asking about Kawhi Leonard.

Once again, the season is about to begin and, once again, people are afraid Leonard won’t be able to last for all 82 games without getting hurt.

But Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said everyone should calm down and promised Leonard would be fine.

“I speak to him all the time,” Lue told ESPN last week. “He’ll be ready for [Clippers] training camp.”

This is music to the ears of Clippers fans, but will Leonard’s luck run out again?

After a slow start last season, Leonard got back into the swing of things and played in 68 games, averaging 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.

But history repeated itself and Leonard ended up hurting himself as the season came to a close.

This ruined the team’s chance of postseason greatness and it also compromised his ability to play with Team USA in the Olympics.

Understandably, Clippers fans remain nervous about Leonard because he has a very bad track record with his health.

This season should be a big one for the Clippers.

They will be playing in a new arena and hope to forge a path forward without Paul George and Russell Westbrook.

This means they will need Leonard more than ever before.

According to Lue, he’ll be ready to play when the season tips off in October.

However, he has been ready in the past and injuries still flared up later in the year.

What are the chances of that happening again?

Has Leonard finally and truly shaken off his history of injuries or will the upcoming season look like many that came before?
