With the NBA season just getting started, some are already thinking about the upcoming draft.

That’s not only because of the stellar prospects expected to be available at the top of the board, but also because of the fact that next year’s edition features none other than Bronny James, LeBron James’ firstborn.

However, he still needs to clear some hurdles before even thinking of that, as he has yet to make his college basketball debut after collapsing with cardiac arrest during practice earlier in the year.

With that in mind, USC coach Andy Enfield finally revealed that it’s just a matter of time before the talented combo guard makes his debut, and while he didn’t want to commit to a timeline, it’s still encouraging to see that he won’t miss the whole season (via Paolo Uggetti).

Andy Enfield on Bronny: “We’re anticipating Bronny being back on the court soon. What soon means? I don’t know. It’s not my decision so I really can’t say anything because I don’t know anything.”

Bronny had become a top-10 pick in some mock drafts, but most analysts agree that he could be taken after the lottery, perhaps in the final-third of the first round.

Needless to say, not playing and that scary incident didn’t do much to help his draft stock, and there was a point at which his entire career was considered to be in jeopardy.

Bronny’s future team could also determine LeBron’s next destination, as he’s made it loud and clear that he intends to share the court with his eldest boy, and that’s going to be a situation to keep an eye on, as the Los Angeles Lakers cannot afford to lose their franchise player.
