It’s been a difficult few seasons for Victor Oladipo.
In the middle of last season, Oladipo was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies, leaving him without a home in the NBA.
The two-time All-Star already wasn’t playing at the time because of a knee injury that kept him sidelined all year but the waiving only made matters worse.
Now Oladipo is making plans for his future and cryptically speaking about them on social media.
On Twitter, Oladipo addressed the world and suggested that big changes are coming.
He wrote:
“Good morning I just want to let everyone know it’s a very different time in my life and I can’t share my time and energy anymore. I want to make everyone happy and be there for everybody especially those I care about, but I’m now called to walk a different path. I hope everyone can respect and understand that. You’ll soon see why. Peace be Unto You.”

There was a time when Oladipo was one of the most exciting young players in the league.
During his four seasons with the Indiana Pacers, he averaged 20.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
That was good enough for his two All-Star appearances and Most Improved Player of the Year in 2017-18.
But injuries have been a recurring problem for the 32-year-old guard.
Since 2017-18, Oladipo hasn’t enjoyed a single season of more than 50 games.
He started to play more during his second season with the Miami Heat in 2022-23 when he played in 42 games.
But, once again, he got hurt and hasn’t played a game since.
No one knows what this “different path” is but Oladipo is obviously cooking up something that he will share with fans soon.
