The French national team is a threat at the Olympics this year and has one of the best players in the NBA.
This year’s Olympics has been a chance for Victor Wembanyama to remind everyone how special he is.
According to Evan Sidery, he has been doing amazing things from beyond the three-point line.
Wembanyama is currently shooting 42% on threes during the Olympics, which is a jaw-dropping stat for the reigning Rookie of the Year.
“If Wembanyama takes another efficiency jump this season, the Spurs’ star is truly going to become unguardable,” Sidery wrote and no one can argue with that.

During his first season in the league, Wembanyama scored 32.5% from the field.
That showed he has room to grow from that part of the court and apparently he has been putting in effort to improve.
He averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and a league-high 3.6 blocks during his first season.
Beyond his offensive output, Wembanyama’s defensive game was sensational.
There were many games when he looked downright incredible and was able to stop nearly anyone who got in his way.
Wembanyama is already someone special but analysts have said if he can improve his shooting, he will be a unique threat that is impossible to slow down.
Perhaps his time in the Olympics is a glimpse of things to come.
He could enter his second season shooting much better from the field and threatening his opponents in a brand new way.
Wembanyama was already making waves in the NBA but if he can enhance his shooting skills, he will create an even larger splash.
