San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama never ceases to amaze.

Even though his team has struggled mightily all season, he always seems to have a new trick in his bag, and everything he does looks more impressive because of his height and length.

That happened again during their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, as he threw an odd-looking self alley-oop, leaving defenders dizzy and wondering what on Earth had happened.

Following the game, Wembanyama claimed that he’s just a resourceful guy, jokingly stating that he can do stuff like that even without a dribble (via NBA).

The self-alley-oop wasn’t pretty at all, but it sure was impressive.

It takes a lot of wit and skill to do something like that, not to mention his physical traits to pull it off.

He’s no Kobe Bryant or Tracy McGrady in terms of athleticism and explosiveness by any means, but he’s savvy and knows how to make the most of his long arms and whatnot.

The Spurs haven’t been a good team at all this season.

It’s almost impossible to miss a seven-footer wide-open in the low post, yet the team has plenty of trouble getting him the ball, especially on fast breaks.

That’s why he might have to take matters into his own hands and be his own point guard, as he’s just too good to be standing there waiving his arms and hoping the ball finds its way into his hands.
