The San Antonio Spurs will have a potential generational talent.
Victor Wembanyama has been a remarkable prospect for years now, and everything he’s done up to this point has gotten him ready to take his talents to the NBA.
That’s why he knows he needs to handle himself in a certain way to make it in the league, and he recently admitted that he wouldn’t be “too humble” once he sets foot on that court, as putting his head down could hamper his ability to make an impact.

Notably, Wembanyama has plenty of experience as a professional basketball player, so he knows one thing or two about what he’s talking about.
Moreover, he’s close with Tony Parker, so he might have reached out to him for advice more often than not.
U.S. players and fans often tend to think that foreign guys are softer and can be bullied around, but that’s seldom the case.
And if you’re a 7-foot-5 specimen and considered the greatest prospect in the history of professional basketball, you need to be confident enough in your game to go out there and do the things that got you that distinction in the first place.
Needless to say, Wembanyama will have to carry an unmatched kind of weight on his shoulders.
Living up to the expectations will be almost impossible for him.
But the same was said of many players before him, so why wouldn’t he able to fulfill his destiny and become the greatest player of all time?
