Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs just had the best year of his young life.
He had an amazing first season in the league, won Rookie of the Year, and helped lead his French team to the silver medal at the Paris Olympics.
He’s had a lot of fun, but he’s been very busy.
Therefore, Wembanyama has earned a vacation and he’s enjoying it right now.
A photo shared by Tigo Sports Costa Rica, per ClutchPoints, shows Wembanyama in Costa Rica among staff at a resort.
Unsurprisingly, the Spurs star towers over everyone else in the photo.

This is yet another example of just how massive Wembanyama is.
The reigning Rookie of the Year is seven-foot-four and 209 pounds and looks a great deal larger than many other players in the league.
But he’s noticeable for more than just his height.
In his first season, Wembanyama posted an average of 21.4 points and 10.6 rebounds.
He also performed 1.2 steals per game and a league-high 3.6 blocks.
Best of all, Wembanyama looked even better at the end of the season than he did at the beginning, proving that he is only getting stronger and more comfortable on the court.
That is why he is the odds-on favorite to win Most Improved Player and Defensive Player of the Year for the season ahead.
Wembanyama is already great and headed to a higher level of greatness.
But that’s only possible if he rests, relaxes, and prepares for the long year ahead.
His vacation in Costa Rica is obviously a part of that.
He should savor every minute because, in a few months, all eyes will be on the Spurs star again.
