Team USA made it look easy on Tuesday morning and Austin Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers was a huge part of that.

The Americans sailed past the Italians, 100-63, as they earned their spot in the FIBA Basketball World Cup semifinals.

At one point during the game, Reaves created a strong and intimidating put-back dunk.

After shaming the Italians with that play, he glanced at their bench as he made his way back down the court.

A clip of his dunk made the rounds online and was shared by the Lakers’ official Twitter account.

Reaves came out strong against the Italian team.

He scored 12 points in 20 minutes, shooting 3-of-4 from the field and 2-of-3 from the three-point line.

This was a strong game from Reaves, who suffered a bit of a misstep just days before when playing against Team Lithuania.

He was in fine form on Tuesday morning and looked like the exciting, up-and-coming star that so many Lakers fans have fallen in love with.

Reaves has been receiving a lot of attention since the World Cup began.

During the team’s six games, Reaves has averaged 11 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Beyond those numbers, he has put up an impressive 55.2% from the field and 50% from the three-point line.

People knew that if the Americans were going to win the World Cup, they’d need all of the players to contribute.

Reaves obviously received that message.

Some were fearful of what would come next from the Lakers star after his showing against the Lithuanians.

But Reaves was back in a big way against the Italians.
