Los Angeles and New York are the two biggest markets in professional sports in this country.
When the New York Knicks and or Los Angeles Lakers are playing at a high level and in contention for an NBA title, these two big cities on both sides of the country go wild and justly so as it can be exciting.
Although the Knicks headed into this NBA postseason as the underdog in the first round against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jalen Brunson and company have changed the narrative after four games with New York in complete control.
The Knicks have a 3-1 series lead over the Cavaliers, and fans in New York couldn’t be more pleased, as seen after Game 4 on Sunday via SportsCenter.

On Wednesday, this first-round playoff series between the Knicks and Cavaliers shifts back to Cleveland for a potential series-clinching Game 5 for New York.
If the Knicks come out on top in that game on the road, fans of the storied NBA franchise are bound to go wild once again as they’ll inch closer to competing for a title in the Eastern Conference.
All signs point to the Knicks winning in Game 5 or finishing off the Cavaliers in six games to face either the Miami Heat or Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs.
Obviously, the Heat and Bucks present a different challenge entirely for Tom Thibodeau’s squad, but the Knicks are confident and healthy and seemingly ready to go as far as they possibly can in the postseason.
