Nick Nurse is just weeks away from starting his second season as the head coach for the Philadelphia 76ers.

His first season was filled with many ups and downs but there is every reason to be excited about what’s ahead.

Nurse is obviously feeling good about his team’s chances.

A video shared by Keith Pompey on X shows Nurse singing the Sixers’ victory son, “Here Come The Sixers” at a golf invitational in his hometown of Caroll, Iowa.

He is getting ready for 2024-25 and is prepared to help his team reach new heights.

Philadelphia scored 47 wins and 35 losses during Nurse’s first season as their coach.

Of course, almost everyone agrees they would have secured many more victories had Joel Embiid not been hurt so much.

They made some big offseason changes in the summer, most notably adding Paul George to the lineup.

The hope is that he immediately impacts the team and helps them become more of a force in the Eastern Conference.

Other additions to the roster should assist the Sixers but the new season will still be challenging.

The Eastern Conference is getting tougher and tougher and the Boston Celtics will fight hard to retain their supremacy.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, and others are no joke.

Still, it’s obvious that Nurse is ready to get started and likes his team’s chances for the new year.

In a matter of weeks, the summer will be over, training camp will begin, and the Sixers will start down a path that could lead them back to the Finals after so many years.
