In just a few days, Zion Williamson will triumphantly return to an NBA basketball court.
Once again, Williamson had a strong season in 2022-23.
But, once again, his season was cut short because of an injury.
A new video shared by the NBA shows Williamson playing on the practice court with the rest of his team, communicating clearly and discussing the game with other Pelicans players.
At one point, Williamson mentioned that he is still trying to “find my rhythm.”
Fans are hoping he finds it as quickly as possible.
“You can’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.”

In 2022-23, Williamson averaged 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists on 60.8% from the floor.
Those are wildly impressive numbers but there is a catch: he only played in 29 games before yet another injury reared its ugly head and ended his season early.
Sadly, this is a painful pattern that the Pelicans are used to.
The injury was so consequential last season that the Pelicans fell from the top of the Western Conference standings and ended up not even reaching the playoffs.
For the first time since he joined the league, there were numerous reports that the Pelicans could possibly make a move to get rid of Williamson.
Ultimately, they chose to stick it out with their number one player, even with his troubled history of repeated injuries.
But there is no doubt that he needs to stay healthy in 2023-24.
He can’t just start the season strongly, he needs to finish it well too.
If he doesn’t, the speculation of Williamson leaving the team will only grow.
This video shows that Williamson is healthy, engaged, and prepared for the season.
The question is: is he prepared for all of it?
