Anytime a player picks up their first Major League hit, it’s a special moment.

Cleveland Guardians top catching prospect Bo Naylor got a chance to experience that on Wednesday night as the team took on the Oakland Athletics.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Naylor hit one out to center field for his first big-league hit.

As he raced to first base, the cameras panned to Josh Naylor on the bench as he celebrated his younger brother’s first Major League hit.

On Twitter, MLB on FOX posted the video of Naylor’s reaction to his brother’s first big-league hit.

Not often do a pair of brothers get a chance to play alongside each other on the same team.

But the Naylor brothers have the opportunity to share a clubhouse together and celebrate their biggest accomplishments.

The young Guardians catcher certainly made solid contact with this pitch from Athletics reliever Austin Pruitt.

And on the bench, his older brother appeared to be having the time of his life as he watched the at-bat unfold and ultimately result in the young catcher’s first ever Major League hit.

The Guardians ultimately won the game, 7-6, but Naylor’s hit was the moment that may have stolen the show from last night’s tilt between the A’s and Guardians.

In addition to Bo’s first big-league hit, the veteran Naylor picked up four hits and even hit a home run.

The Naylor brothers helped carry the Guardians to an important win as they rallied late to beat the A’s.
