When Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles in the New York Jets‘ first game of the 2023 season, it was a shocking moment for many.
Not only was this disappointing for Jets fans and their hopes of a playoff berth but it was revealed that this was a season-ending injury.
At least, so they thought.
Rodgers has said on numerous occasions that he will be back for the playoffs, perhaps before the end of the regular season.
While many fans saw this as pointless optimism from Rodgers, a recent video may have changed their minds.

As Jets reporter Paul Andrew Esden Jr. shared, Rodgers was seen walking around the Jets facility.
This video immediately went viral, as Rodgers was not only walking but walking without crutches.
While Rodgers might have a long way to go in the recovery process, walking under his own power is a step in the right direction.
The Jets made several moves in the offseason with the hopes of making the playoffs.
Through five weeks, they have put together a 2-3 record, and currently have an outside chance at the postseason.
However, this video and optimism from Rodgers could re-energize the locker room for the rest of the year.
If Rodgers miraculously comes back, not only do their playoff chances get significantly better, but their odds of advancing in the playoffs also increase.
Their newly added players have done well thus far on a new team.
With Rodgers on the field, there’s no telling how much better they will be, and the Jets could surprise many around the league.
