The world is just days away from seeing who wins the very first NBA In-Season Tournament.

There are now only four teams remaining in the competition, with the semifinals set to begin on Thursday in Las Vegas.

Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks may end up raising the NBA Cup over his head this weekend but until then he will try hard to keep his hands off it.

A video shared by theScore, via NBACentral, shows Lillard getting an up-close look at the gorgeous new trophy.

In the video, he reaches forward to touch the gold and black prize, which causes an off-camera reporter to tell him to stop because “it’s bad luck.”

Lillard doesn’t touch it but he does take a good look.

The Bucks will battle the Indiana Pacers on Thursday in hopes of progressing to the championship, which will be held this Saturday, also in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans will find out which team is coming out of the Western Conference.

Lillard and the Bucks had a strong victory over the New York Knicks the other night, beating them 146-122 to proceed to the next round.

Lillard posted 28 points and 7 assists during that game, which was another strong game with his new team.

The newest Bucks star has averaged 25.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game, which is a bit down from what he was doing during his last season with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Even with lowered output, Lillard is adding a lot to his new team.

His partnership with Giannis Antetokounmpo has been looking very good and the Bucks are currently the second-best team in the East with a 15-6 record.

Will this help them win the first In-Season Tournament and possibly even the Finals?
