The Chicago Bears have a new star quarterback.
Caleb Williams has taken the city by storm, and even though he hasn’t even played an NFL game, Chicago has embraced him right back.
With that in mind, the Chicago Cubs made sure to jump on top of the wave and welcomed him for a quick visit, which included him getting some swings in the batting cage.
Well, it’s safe to say that he should stick to football, as he’s clearly not made for The Big Show.
Williams’ swing wasn’t particularly great, but he was having a good time (via Cubs Zone).

The USC product is a potential generational talent at the quarterback position, and the Bears hope he’ll become their first-ever elite quarterback.
Chicago has given him the weapons he needs to succeed right out of the gate, adding Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, and D’Andre Swfit to a core that already included the likes of DJ Moore and Cole Kmet.
All rookie quarterbacks go through some growing pains, and it’s not easy to adapt to the perks and demands of being an NFL star, let alone the No. 1 pick.
Williams, however, seems mentally strong enough to deal with this kind of pressure.
He’s been in the eye of the storm for years now, and he’s never wavered despite some mockery and ill-filled comments.
Hopefully, he’ll be able to live up to his potential.
Otherwise, he might be forced to try his luck in a different sport, and baseball clearly isn’t for him.
