During his NBA prime, Chris Bosh was one of the best big men in the league.

Bosh started off his career with the Toronto Raptors and was a multi-time All-Star though he and the team struggled to compete in the Eastern Conference.

Sensing the need for change in his career, Bosh then went on to sign with the Miami Heat in free agency and formed one of the most dominant “Big 3s” in NBA history alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

The trio of stars made four consecutive NBA Finals appearances, winning back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

Although James and Wade eventually moved on, Bosh stayed with Miami and kept them in playoff contention before he was forced to medically retire due to a serious blood clotting issue.

Bosh later officially retired from professional basketball in 2019, but was recently spotted back on the court taking some jumpers in Goran Dragic’s farewell game along with many other stars.

At only 40 years old, there is a world where Bosh is still playing in the NBA though likely in a reduced role off the bench.

Bosh would have been a perfect fit in today’s NBA which features versatile big men who can shoot and protect the paint, two areas he excelled in.

The league is full of what-ifs, but it’s fun to think about what Bosh could have done had he been able to stay healthy and on the floor.

While no one will ever know for sure, it’s good to see him up and about.
