After falling to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA playoffs, the Golden State Warriors seemed determined to make some moves during the summer in order to get back on track as legitimate title contenders.
Unfortunately, the Warriors saw longtime general manager Bob Myers leave the team after the season, but that didn’t stop the team from making significant moves, with them trading guard Jordan Peele to the Washington Wizards in exchange for future Hall of Famer Chris Paul.
Although this was an odd move due to Paul’s history of not exactly liking the star trio in San Francisco, the Warriors seem to be going all-in with their new-look squad in hopes that Paul’s desire to win a championship in the twilight of his career is enough to put this team over the top during the 2023-24 NBA season.
With the start of NBA training camps only a few weeks away, veteran forward Draymond Green, who recently re-signed with the team, and Paul were seen working together on the basketball court, via ClutchPoints.

One of the concerns for the Warriors bringing in Paul is that he’s not used to playing with the pace they play with in San Francisco, as he might find it difficult to adjust, especially late in his career.
However, Paul has been able to make it work no matter where he’s played in the NBA and should be able to do the same in the Bay Area as he tries one more time to win a Larry O’Brien Trophy.
