The Carolina Panthers finally got their guy.
They didn’t hesitate to send a big haul to the Chicago Bears to get the No. 1 pick in return because they knew Bryce Young had the chance to be special.
And even though everybody has always praised him and raved about his potential as a franchise quarterback, even he seems to be starstruck and in disbelief at the moment.
Now, a heartwarming video of him showing his new locker to his parents has gone viral on social media, as shared by NFL insider Dov Kleiman.

Young is coming off having one of the greatest QB careers in Alabama Crimson Tide history, dominating the SEC and proving to be a unique kind of talent.
He’s so good that most teams — Panthers included — decided to ignore the fact that he doesn’t have the size or build of the average NFL quarterback, as he makes up for that with an elite vision, ability to extend plays, and impressive IQ.
Young might have some trouble enduring the physicality that comes with playing a full NFL season, or that’s how his doubters seem to feel.
And nothing is given at that level; everything has to be earned, which is something not many young stars like him seem to understand when they first enter the league.
That’s yet another reason why this clip was so endearing and humbling.
Now, Panthers fans will hope this is just the first of many years having him as their franchise quarterback, as he looks poised to turn the team around once and for all.
