The Cleveland Cavaliers had a strong NBA season last year, making it to the playoffs.
The addition of Donovan Mitchell was largely responsible for this, but they found efficient production from several other players on their roster.
This included Evan Mobley, who averaged 16.2 points per game, nine rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
While Mobley’s scoring mainly came in the paint and close to the rim, a video shared by Clutch Points shows Mobley working on his long-range shooting.

In this clip, Mobley took half-court shots on his vacation in the Bahamas to improve this aspect of his game.
Last season, Mobley’s three-point percentage was just 21.6%, one of the lowest percentages on the team.
While Mobley isn’t likely to take these kinds of shots in any upcoming Cavaliers games, it is a sign that he is constantly looking for areas of improvement.
For an NBA franchise, that’s all they can ask of their up-and-coming stars, which Mobley proved to be last season.
Can Mobley, Mitchell, and the rest of the Cavaliers take their success of last year and turn it into a deeper playoff run this season?
There is increasing energy around this team, both internally and from fans across the league.
While LeBron James is no longer around, they might be starting to recapture the magic they found when he was on the roster, winning back the city of Cleveland.
It’s not necessarily a traditional basketball town, but if they can keep winning, the city could once again be filled with the joy of a winning culture.
