With the start of the 2024 NFL Draft on April 25 right around the corner, all the top-tier quarterbacks who have entered the draft have been evaluated by everyone and anyone as draft experts try to predict where players will land next month.
Although the top of the draft seems to be set in terms of quarterbacks, with Caleb Williams expected to go No. 1, followed by Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels, there’s no telling what will happen once these top three quarterbacks are officially off the board.
One quarterback that has gotten a lot of buzz as of late is former University of Michigan star J.J. McCarthy, who could go anywhere from near the top of the draft to the middle, late in the first round, or falling to the second round.
Around this time, with the draft looming, players like McCarthy are having their pro days, and he didn’t disappoint while airing it out at the University of Michigan via The 33rd Team.

Even though McCarthy is considered to be in the second tier of quarterbacks heading into the upcoming NFL Draft, there’s a chance he could be one of the players taken higher than expected due to all the buzz he’s been getting lately and the number of teams potentially ready to select a quarterback on April 25.
It’ll be interesting to see where McCarthy ultimately lands and if he secures a starting job right out of the gate after winning a national championship in college football under Jim Harbaugh this past season.
