Jimmy Butler and his Miami Heat had a surprisingly strong 2022-23 season.
But there is no doubt they want to go even further in the season ahead.
If that is going to happen, Butler will have to again take on the role of team leader.
A new video from the six-time All-Star proves that he’s been working on his shot and preparing for 2023-24.
However, the video, shared by Butler on Instagram and ClutchPoints on Twitter, shows Butler putting up shots at the Toronto Raptors’ practice court instead of his own in Miami.

Miami fans aren’t sure why Butler was practicing in Toronto but they are very happy with what they see.
In the video, Butler is sinking three-pointer after three-pointer, which is great news for fans of the Heat.
Last year, he had one of his best three-point seasons in years, averaging 35% from the floor.
That is near his career-high of 37.8% from back in 2014-15.
In fact, the 2022-23 regular season was good for Butler across the board.
He averaged 22.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists a game.
Then, in the playoffs, he put up 26.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists.
However, his field goal percentage dipped in the playoffs, from 53.9% to 46.8%.
Some fans noted that Butler wasn’t playing as well as expected during some of the playoffs.
But they were still impressed by the way that he and his team were able to shut down the critics and over-perform far into the postseason.
Now everyone is wondering what the new season will hold for Butler and Miami.
They are of course trying to acquire Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
But even if they don’t, they are going to fight hard to impress their fans once again.
