Ever since the Miami Heat were eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs by the eventual NBA champion Boston Celtics, there’s been much uncertainty surrounding the immediate future of the storied franchise.
One of the uncertainties involved the team’s best player, veteran Jimmy Butler, who was mentioned in trade rumors heading into the offseason even though Pat Riley tried to make it clear that the team had no intention of moving him this summer.
In classic Butler fashion, the 34-year-old has been keeping busy during the NBA offseason by doing random things and always seeming to get on camera.
Recently, Butler was seen handing out money to fans after winning a poker tournament, presumably in Las Vegas, and now he is taking up soccer pong via ClutchPoints.

It’s safe to say that Butler should probably stick to basketball, as he totally whiffled when trying to return to the soccer ball for the first time; it was pretty hilarious to see a professional athlete struggle at something that requires a bit of athleticism.
As for Butler’s future with the Heat, only time will tell if Miami decides to trade him this summer, as some have speculated that the Philadelphia 76ers would love to have him back to play alongside stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
The 76ers will have a ton of cap space this summer and may be willing to do anything to bring in another star, as the team has also been linked to fellow superstars LeBron James and Paul George.
