During his time with the Washington Wizards, John Wall became a legitimate superstar in the NBA. He was the face of the franchise and was named an All-Star for five straight seasons, which gave him the distinction as one of the best guards in the league.

Unfortunately for Wall, injuries started to pile up, and the once-promising duo of the Kentucky product and fellow star Bradley Beal was never able to live up to expectations as they always flamed out in the NBA playoffs.

After missing the entire 2019-20 NBA season, Wall ended up playing 40 games for the Houston Rockets before succumbing to injuries again. He then missed the 2021-22 campaign before landing with the Los Angeles Clippers for 34 games during the 2022-23 season.

Following his short stint with the Clippers, Wall has been unable to find a new team, but he’s refusing to call it a career and may be working on another comeback.

He was recently seen working out in front of former Los Angeles Lakers head coach and new Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Darvin Ham, via NBA Central.

At this point, it seems like a long shot that Wall will get another opportunity in the NBA. He’ll turn 34 years old before the start of the 2024-25 season and comes with a lot of doubts about whether he can stay healthy over the course of an 82-game campaign.

Only time will tell what is in store for Wall and whether he’ll get a shot with the Bucks or another team in the league to extend his playing career.
