The Buffalo Bills desperately needed a wide receiver.
They traded away Stefon Diggs and lost Gabe Davis in free agency, and while Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox are great pass-catching tight ends, their WR room clearly needed more depth.
That’s why the fans were so disappointed to see them trading down twice in the first round.
Then, they wound up taking Florida State standout Keon Coleman with the No. 33 selection, and the fact that they moved back twice made everybody think that he was their first choice all along.
As surprising as that may have been, considering some of the players who were still available by then, Coleman definitely made a strong impression in Buffalo.
Now, the fans are also buying his stock after watching him put in some hard work to get ready for the upcoming campaign (via Dov Kleiman).

Coleman is coming off a solid season with the Seminoles, leading them in receptions (50), receiving yards (658), and receiving touchdowns (11).
He’s a quick X receiver who has struggled with more physical DBs at times, but who’s also shown great ability to pick up yards after the catch, and he should see plenty of targets with Josh Allen leading the way.
The Bills are entering a make-or-break season, and it’s nice to see the young players living up to the standards by getting some work in when everybody else is getting some rest.
