Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Dodgers and other West Coast teams were forced to rearrange their schedules due to Hurricane Hilary making landfall on Sunday.

The Dodgers themselves moved Sunday’s game up a day and played a doubleheader against the Miami Marlins on Saturday.

The Dodgers swept that twin bill and remained hot.

When the hurricane made landfall on Sunday, the areas surrounding Dodger Stadium were simply a mess, with water all around the stadium.

No water appeared to get into the stadium, but on Twitter, Jomboy Media posted a video showing the aerial view of the ballpark after the storm.

Water completely surrounded the areas around Dodger Stadium, making it look as if the stadium itself was in the middle of a swamp.

Ultimately, it’s easy to see why the Dodgers and Marlins moved up their game on Sunday, as it would have been impossible for fans to get down to the ballpark given the storm and all of the standing water that came along with it.

But the area around Dodger Stadium was simply a mess following the hurricane.

Entire parking lots were submerged in water, making it impossible for people to park their cars.

Sunday was certainly a wild day in Los Angeles as Hurricane Hilary hit the city.

The hurricane changed the course of Sunday’s schedule, forcing the Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and Los Angeles Angels to cancel their games and move them up a day for a day-night doubleheader on Saturday in order to conclude their series.
