We didn’t see much of Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers during the recent Paris Olympics.
Even though he didn’t play often for Team USA, he was still dedicated to his squad and invested all his energy into their wins.
A video shared by Overtime on X shows Haliburton with that same sort of intense energy, only this time he’s using it against children.
The video features Haliburton putting up some pretty dominant defense on a young player at a youth basketball camp.
Haliburton towers over the kid but still swats the ball down in a pretty hilarious manner.

Is Haliburton’s defense a bit over the top and unnecessary?
Possibly, but at least it makes a good story for the kid in the video.
Meanwhile, Pacers fans will be happy to see that Haliburton is in good shape and ready to play.
They didn’t witness much of his skills during the Olympics, because he only played in three games for Team USA, totaling just 26 minutes and scoring a total of 8 points.
The roster was very deep and there were rumors about Haliburton nursing an injury so he wasn’t called upon often by head coach Steve Kerr.
There is no doubt that he will play a lot more when the new season begins in October.
Last year, Haliburton averaged 20.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and a league-high 10.9 assists for the Pacers.
That was good enough to earn him another All-Star appearance and lead the Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they were swept by the eventual champions, the Boston Celtics.
Haliburton was hurt for the Eastern Conference Finals so things could have been different had he been healthy.
What will the new season hold for a fully healthy Haliburton and his team?
Will we see a defense like this against NBA opponents?
