After a bit of a rocky offseason, it seems pretty clear to most fans around the NFL what the Buffalo Bills need to do to improve their roster before the season starts.
Not that it’s much of a secret, but it appears one of Buffalo’s star defensive players has alluded to what the team’s not-so-secretive plans are in the NFL Draft this year.
Superstar edge rusher Von Miller posted a meme on Instagram of his general manager with his fist raised high up in the air along with a caption saying, “Brandon Beane arriving to the 2024 NFL draft to trade up for a WR.”

It’s unclear how involved, if at all, Miller is in the draft process within the organization, but this isn’t rocket science.
Buffalo traded star wideout Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, putting an end to what had become a rocky relationship, and also watched No. 2 receiver Gabe Davis sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars early in free agency.
This has left the team with Khalil Shakir and the newly-signed Curtis Samuel as the top two receivers on the depth chart, with Mack Hollins, Andy Isabella, and KJ Hamler rounding out the receiving room.
That’s not striking fear into any opponents, and with such a deep crop of talent at WR in this year’s draft, the Bills should have no problem finding someone worth selecting late in the first round.
Buffalo currently has the 28th overall pick, and if the Bills want to trade up, they have some ammo to use with their extra draft picks.
