When the news broke that the Golden State Warriors were trading for Chris Paul, most people thought it was just a salary-dumping move and that they’d move him sooner rather than later.
But the Dubs have made it more than clear that they actually want Paul to stay and contribute next season, which is as odd as it is interesting.
With that in mind, the franchise’s PR team doubled down on this commitment by sharing a video to get the fans hyped as they watch the new CP3 Warriors jersey be made.

Truth be told, it’s hard to figure out how this experiment will work.
On the one hand, Paul has never been the kind of guy who comes off the bench, so he might not be ready or willing to embrace that role.
On the other, Steve Kerr may not even want to put him in that position at all, so there’s a chance he coexists in the backcourt with Stephen Curry.
Whatever the case, having him should significantly bolster the second unit, as he’s likely to have a lot of playing time with those guys, which could only mean good news for the likes of Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga.
But Paul’s methodic way of leading the offense is pretty much opposite to what Kerr has established since arriving in the Bay Area, and this clash of styles is pretty much unprecedented.
The Warriors will continue to be a must-watch team, and if someone can figure things out, that’s two of the greatest point guards and one of the best tacticians ever.
