If the Chicago Bulls really do commit to sending away Zach LaVine and others, the rest of the league could greatly benefit.

There are a number of teams that would quickly jump into the running to land LaVine, including the Golden State Warriors.

Writing for The Athletic, Sam Vecenie said that the Warriors could try to sign LaVine because he could possibly “function as a supercharged Jordan Poole.”

But they’d likely have tough competition to get the two-time All-Star.

Could the Warriors enter the race for Zach LaVine?

It comes down to their valuation of Jonathan Kuminga, @Sam_Vecenie writes.

With his 21.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3 assists per game, it is clear why a bunch of teams would want LaVine.

He has been a target for several front offices over the years but the Bulls have refused to entertain any talks around him.

But the Warriors would be one of the teams happiest with LaVine because of the position he could take.

Golden State is in a tough spot right now, with Stephen Curry playing brilliantly while the rest of the team struggles at times, especially with shooting.

LaVine could help out with that and pick up the slack.

But the Warriors would have to give up a lot to get him, including certain players such as Jonathan Kuminga.

Would they be willing to do that?

Plus, they would have competition from numerous other teams that are eager to see what LaVine can do for them.

With their decision to either let LaVine go or hold onto him, the Bulls might transform much of the league in a very big way.

If they go ahead and put LaVine on the market, the Warriors will have to decide what they will offer to land him.

He could be the missing piece they need to return to the Finals.
