The Golden State Warriors might make a move before the offseason comes to an end.

There have been multiple reports of the Warriors looking to sign veteran players over the last few days.

The latest report from Shams Charania, via NBACentral, says that Dewayne Dedmon could be a “potential option” for the Warriors.

Dedmon last played for the Philadelphia 76ers, where he averaged 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in just 9.5 minutes per game.

He only played in eight games for that team in 2022-23 and it was obvious they weren’t that committed to him.

During his 10 years in the league, Dedmon has been all over the place.

He actually got his start with the Warriors back in 2013 but he didn’t stick with them long and then moved around from the Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks, and several other teams.

Will he return to the Warriors and give them the size that they need?

At seven feet tall, Dedmon is a strong, physically intimidating center, someone who could defend in the paint.

That is exactly the sort of player the Warriors are looking for.

Just the other day, reports said that the team was going to look at possibly signing Dwight Howard, another tall, large, powerful veteran center.

It’s not clear if they could get both Dedmon and Howard or if they will only take one as a backup big man.

The Warriors are looking to make themselves bigger and stronger ahead of the new season.

They are looking at a few veteran centers to make that happen.
