It’s hard to talk about the NBA over the past decade without mentioning the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors were dominant for so many seasons, notably known for taking down Lebron James in the NBA Finals, not a small feat by any measurement.

Steph Curry was the main catalyst for their success and has been among the top players in the league for over a decade.

However, Curry isn’t getting any younger.

While it seems that he’ll be a Warrior for the remainder of his NBA career, the Warriors need to start coming up with a backup plan for when he’s no longer around.

The good news for the team is that they might have found that player in Brandin Podziemski.

Evan Sidery called out a quote from Shams Charania via the Pat McAfee Show, who said the Warriors view Podziemski as the “guard of the future.”

The Warriors have enjoyed having Podziemski on their roster thus far, and he’s only been with them for one season.

At 21 years old, Podziemski represents the future of this team, which he started to showcase in his rookie campaign.

He averaged just shy of 10 points per game last year, but considering he shot nearly 40% from beyond the arc, it could be a sign of what’s to come.

Of course, he doesn’t have the type of range that Curry has from deep, but he can certainly make shots when called upon.

The Warriors are looking for a Curry replacement, and they might have found it.
