The NFL preseason is not about winning or the numbers.

It’s all about the players getting their legs back under them, developing winning habits, and getting everybody on the same page.

That’s why, even though wins and losses don’t actually count, the way those wins and losses take place could either boost or kill a team’s morale ahead of the actual season.

With that in mind, Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis wants his teammates to embrace this feeling and get used to winning some football games.

Following the win over the San Francisco 49ers, the second-year pro claimed that ‘winning is fun’ and that the team needs to get used to winning (via Paul Kuharsky).

Levis was only on the field for two drives, but it was more than enough to give us all a glimpse of how Brian Callahan’s offense could look this season.

He led two touchdown drives, completing 4 of 5 passes for 35 yards and rushing twice for three yards and a score.

Of course, the Niners opted to sit virtually all of their key players, so one should take this with a grain of salt.

Still, once again, this was all about the intangibles, and Levis wants to make sure to get this new era of Titans football started on the right foot.

The Titans made some big moves this offseason and could be a dark horse playoff team, especially if their young quarterback takes a leap after an up-and-down, yet very promising rookie season.
