Wizards Player Says Pacers Star Is ‘Overrated’

The season is over for Washington Wizards star Bilal Coulibaly but he is still making some big headlines.

The power forward recently said that Pascal Siakam of the Indiana Pacers is “overrated” and easy to read on the court.

On Monday’s “Run It Back,” the French star was given the chance to renounce the claim and deny it but he doubled down instead.

“I stand by it,” Coulibaly plainly said.

That is a harsh comment from Coulibaly and it is sure to get an intense response from Pacers fans, who have been happy with what they have received from Siakam since he came to the team a few months ago.

He has averaged 21.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.7 since joining the Pacers earlier this season.

He has immediately become an important part of the team’s lineup and is a constant member of the starting five.

Unlike Coulibaly, Siakam is in the playoffs and has put up 20.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during the postseason.

As for Coulibaly, he averaged 8.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists during his rookie season.

He has only played in the NBA for one year but it’s clear that Coulibaly isn’t afraid of speaking his mind no matter if it upsets other players in the league.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens next season and if Siakam performs extra hard against Coulibaly during their first game together.

For the time being, Siakam and his Pacers are trying to fight hard to make their way past the New York Knicks in the playoffs.

He is paying close attention to playing as hard as he can but might soon have a response for Coulibaly, on or off the court.
