It seems that the Washington Wizards are always trying to figure themselves out and create a strong, reliable team identity.
That means they are constantly making small changes to the roster, adding and losing players often.
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Wizards have just signed Taj Gibson to a one-year, $3.2 million contract.
This will be Gibson’s second season with Washington.
Now that he has another contract, the 38-year-old forward is about to enjoy his 15th season in the league.
Free agent F Taj Gibson is returning to the Washington Wizards on a one-year, $3.2M contract, Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN. At 38, this will be Gibson’s 15th NBA season.

Last season, Gibson produced 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds for the Wizards during his 49 appearances on the court.
He is only playing a little under ten minutes per game now, which isn’t surprising considering his age.
Therefore, Gibson isn’t viewed as a starting player for the Wizards.
Still, he could bring a lot of wisdom and expertise to the team’s roster.
He has definitely seen a lot during his 15 years in the NBA.
Gibson started his career with the Chicago Bulls and was averaging double-digits every night after a few seasons.
Since then, he has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and New York Knicks.
The Wizards had a busy offseason, losing a few of their stars and adding new ones too.
They said goodbye to Bradley Beal after years of him leading the team and also parted ways with Kristaps Porzingis.
But they also received Jordan Poole, Tyus Jones, Danilo Gallinari, and others.
They also selected promising rookie Bilal Coulibaly in the draft.
With Gibson coming back as well, the team has put together an interesting roster – but is it one that will find a lot of success?
