The World Series is over, so it’s time for teams to review where they stand with regards to their roster.
They will all lose and add players, but first, it’s important to have the list of those players who are finishing their contracts at hand.
New York Yankees insider Bryan Hoch offered a detailed list of all the players now considered free agents.
“Now that the World Series is over, the following #Yankees have become free agents: IF/OF Isiah Kiner-Falefa, RHP Zach McAllister, RHP Keynan Middleton, RHP Frankie Montas, LHP Wandy Peralta, RHP Luis Severino, RHP Luke Weaver,” he tweeted.

No one on that group is particularly likely to return, although most of them are going to be, at the very least, considered.
Peralta is probably the most likely to return to the Bronx next season.
A left-handed reliever, he had a 2.83 ERA in 54 innings and has been extremely solid since joining the Yankees.
Middleton, a trade acquisition this year, left a good impression and might re-sign, too.
Severino and Montas could be considered depending on the price, but both suffered injuries and iffy performance in the last couple of years.
Kiner-Falefa was a true pro despite his limitations, but might try to find more secure playing time elsewhere.
The rest of the group are wild cards that will exclusively depend on the market dynamics.
If there is an area the Yankees need to prioritize, it’s definitely their offense.
They will likely use free agency and the trade market to do so, but in terms of turnover, they are only losing Kiner-Falefa.
