The Brooklyn Nets had one of the most talented trios in NBA history.
James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving together will go down as one of the ultimate “what ifs” in history.
They didn’t give the Nets anything but countless headaches and PR nightmares, but at least one of their former teammates can brag about getting to learn from three of the best scorers of all time.
Cam Thomas made an appearance on JJ Redick’s “The Old Man & The Three” podcast, and when asked about what he learned from that superstar trio, his answers were quite blunt.

He stated that he couldn’t learn anything from Durant because he’s a seven-footer who could simply pull up and shoot over anybody, although he did take a glimpse of his ball-stops.
As for Irving, Thomas stated that he helped him work on his left-hand finishes, as he was already good at finishing with both hands, but Kyrie was obviously other-wordly.
He didn’t say anything about Harden, which isn’t much of a surprise, as it’s not like he was there for a long time or anything.
Thomas has now blossomed into one of the most exciting and electrifying young scorers in the league.
He’s the best offensive player on the post-Big 3 Nets.
Ironically, he could lead the team further into the playoffs than they got with their trio of offensive superstars, as they were rarely able to be on the court at the same time and were hurt by countless off-court issues.
