The Portland Trail Blazers were one of the worst teams in the NBA last season, but that doesn’t mean they are lacking young talent.
In fact, one of their most promising players just signed to a very popular and successful management company.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Scoot Henderson has joined Klutch Points and will rely on CEO Rich Paul for his representation.
What does this mean for Henderson and his future?

Henderson was the third overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft.
When he was selected by the Trail Blazers, many people thought he’d be in contention for Rookie of the Year.
In the end, Henderson had a middling opening season, averaging 14 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in Portland.
Many fans want to see more from Henderson and they’re not sure if he will produce that in Portland or a different location.
The signing of Paul as his agent gives Henderson a lot of possibilities.
Not only will Paul be able to work out better deals for Henderson but he can help plot a course forward that takes him out of Portland.
Paul has done amazing things for many players throughout the NBA over the years and Henderson could be the latest to benefit from his skills as an agent.
Although they were originally very committed to Henderson, there has been speculation about the Blazers moving on from him.
Is he the future of the team and worthy of a big contract extension?
There is no doubt that Paul will work hard to get an answer to both of those questions for Henderson.
