The Denver Broncos entered training camp with a difficult decision to make.

They were unsure who their starting quarterback would be, as they had three on the roster.

Zach Wilson, Jarrett Stidham, and rookie Bo Nix were slated to duke it out for the starting role.

While it was an unclear race at first, Nix pulled away and was ultimately named QB1.

Losing out on a starting job could have been frustrating for Wilson, especially since he came to the Broncos in search of a new opportunity.

However, it seems that Wilson is happy for his teammate, as illustrated by his comments to reporters.

As Zac Stevens highlighted on Twitter, Wilsons said, “I think he’s had a great camp. I told him I’m excited for him for this opportunity. I really believe that they’re putting him in a good situation. I think Sean has done a phenomenal job.”

Zach Wilson wasn’t surprised when Sean Payton named Bo Nix the team’s starting QB.

Nix now has the reins to the Broncos offense.

There are many unknowns as to what this team will look like in 2024, but at least their quarterback situation is resolved.

Now that everything is in place, it’s time for the Broncos to show the league what they’re made of.

Sean Payton is a seasoned coach, and he should possess the tools to lead this team down the right path.

Their history has been rocky over the past few years, but the Broncos have hope and excitement in their locker room, a feeling they haven’t had much in recent seasons.
