The NBA is one league where we see a ton of player mobility.
Each offseason it seems like there is a star player that changes teams.
Back in 2017, Paul George was a name that was being talked about in trade discussions.
The Indiana Pacers were looking to trade him, and they eventually did to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
But, George was shocked to hear that he would be heading to the Thunder.
He said on his podcast, “Podcast P,” that he thought he was going to end up in Cleveland.

LeBron James was still a part of the Cavaliers at the time, and George thought he was going to team up with the legend.
But, due to the Pacers and Cavaliers being in the same division, the deal fell through.
George and James on the Cavaliers would have been an elite duo.
Cleveland made the NBA Finals in the 17-18 season but got swept by the Golden State Warriors.
It would have been interesting to see if George would have made that series more competitive.
Also, that ended up being the last season in Cleveland for James.
Would he have stayed longer if George was there?
The league could look much different today if George ended up getting dealt to the Cavs.
Now both players play on their respective LA teams and we are all left wondering what could have been.
