The Atlanta Braves were one of six MLB teams to announce their new Nike City Connect uniforms for the 2023 season.
Between the six teams, the Braves were the only ones to provide fans with a look at their new uniforms and show off the new designs.
These jerseys will feature the “A” in Atlanta by itself in the top-right corner.
However, they will also feature some throwback colors from the 1970s, which were the days of the great Hank Aaron.
On Twitter, the Braves posted a few photos of the new jerseys, which have a message on the bottom that pays homage to Aaron himself.

The message reads “Keep swinging No. 44.”
“Keep swinging” was Aaron’s motto during his playing days.
44 was of course Aaron’s number during his career, and the Braves have added the message as a nice touch to keep the throwback element present with these new jerseys.
They do of course have a new feel to them as well.
The jerseys are made by Nike and they give the Braves and their fans a perfect mix of the past, the present, and the future.
But it’s never a bad idea to honor a legend, and Aaron was one of the most successful and talented players in Braves history.
He was with the team when they were still playing in Milwaukee and stayed with the team when they moved to Atlanta.
Aaron hit a total of 755 home runs during his illustrious career and was a 25-time All-Star.
He also won an MVP, a World Series title, and three Gold Gloves.
