On Friday night, the Portland Trail Blazers were officially eliminated from playoff contention which means their season is done.
After a bright start and some amazing performances from Damian Lillard, the team is once again on the outside looking in for the postseason.
Speaking of Lillard, he made a comment on The Dan Patrick Show that has a lot of people talking.
Discussing his steadfast loyalty to the Blazers, Lillard said, “I just have my stance on what I want to see happen, but in this business, you just never know.”

Lillard, who at times loves to be very vague when speaking about his future, had people intensely speculating with those words.
Some people felt it was all talk and no substance while others believe it is a sign that he’s ready to depart from the Blazers.

Others said that it really feels like something has changed and Lillard isn’t against the idea of leaving Rip City.

However, some fans weren’t very intrigued by Lillard’s comments and said they seemed a lot like what they’ve heard before.

In the weeks and months ahead, you can bet that there will be a lot of reporting and speculation about Lillard.
There is a good chance he remains in Portland but for the first time in a very long time, it seems like he might actually be packing his bags.
