The Texas Rangers set out to improve their roster over the winter and made some key moves to add to their pitching staff.
Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi, Andrew Heaney, and Jake Odorizzi all joined the team during the offseason.
And so far, the Rangers are off to a pretty good start in 2023.
The moves have paid off and have helped them cruise to a 3-0 start.
On Sunday night, they completed a three-game sweep over the defending National League champion Philadelphia Phillies and made a little history in the process.
The Rangers have improved to 3-0 for the first time since 2011.
That year, they won their second consecutive American League pennant and fell just short in the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.

It may be early, but this 3-0 start bodes well for the Rangers.
Texas has yet to reach the World Series since 2011 and have not made it to the postseason since 2016.
But with their new-look team, they appear to be ready to prove the doubters wrong and potentially even challenge the Houston Astros for the top spot in the AL West division.
Texas lost 94 games last season and finished in fourth place in the AL West.
But with new manager Bruce Bochy at the helm, the Rangers now have some winning experience that they can lean on as they prepare to make a run to the postseason for the first time in seven years.
A three-game sweep against the defending NL champs is certainly a good start for them.
