Most NBA fans continue to overlook the Milwaukee Bucks this season.
That’s crazy if you consider the fact that they have the best record in the Association and virtually the same team that won the NBA championship just two seasons ago.
Truth be told, it seems like we’re just sleeping on them and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who’s not getting nearly enough MVP consideration as he should.
That’s why former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins recently went on record to make a case for the Greek Freak.
Perkins pointed out that people have gotten used to what Giannis is doing, albeit there’s nothing normal about that.
He explained that Giannis is fifth in the league in scoring despite playing just 32 minutes, which is far less than every other player in the top 10.

Giannis is also third in rebounds per game and is a guy that’s dominating both ends of the floor and rarely misses any games.
The Bucks have also been able to do all that despite Khris Middleton missing most of the season, which should only make Giannis’ numbers all the more impressive.
Perkins added that he’s going to vote for Giannis for MVP, praising Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid but stating that the Bucks’ forward should get more recognition.
The Bucks will have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
They’ll need to get past the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers, and that’ll be way easier said than done.
But don’t sleep on them if they come out of the East, as they’ve been the most consistent team all year long, and they already know what it takes to win the championship.
