Each year, it seems that NBA rookies only get better and better.
This season is no exception, with a slew of young athletes showing they have what it takes to become superstars over the next few years.
The number of rookies who have scored more than 20 points a game in 2022-23 is impressive.
But a few rise above the rest.
StatMuse compiled this remarkable statistic and found that Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic has the most 20-point games so far this season, with 39.
Bennedict Mathurin of the Indiana Pacers follows him with 25 20-point games.
After those two, Jalen Williams of the Oklahoma City Thunder has 17, and Jaden Ivey of the Detroit Pistons has 13.

When people talk about this year’s Rookie of the Year race, these are four names that pop up again and again.
It’s usually Banchero who is out front and leading the rest of the pack.
He has the best chance at winning ROTY but all of these players are exploding in their own ways.
However, only one of them has a real chance of being in the playoffs this year.
Williams and his Thunder are currently 10th in the West and will probably be fighting in the play-in games next week.
As for the Magic, Pacers, and Pistons, their seasons are just about over.
But with the power of these young stars, each of these teams can keep rising in the near future.
They have all gotten off to a great start in the league and could definitely be All-Stars and team leaders for their squads.
