Tyreek Hill was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Despite his lack of initial interest in the draft, Hill’s combination of speed and route-running has turned him into one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

While he was traded to the Miami Dolphins during the 2022 offseason, Hill was still able to make an impact on a new roster.

In a recent interview, Hill commented that he will finish out his current contract with the Dolphins, and promptly retire after the 2025 season.

This announcement was surprising to many and caused a flurry of responses throughout the internet.

That’s awesome. Good for him he’s gonna go out on his own terms – a lot of guys don’t get to do that

As this fan dictates, Hill would choose how he leaves the sport, rather than an injury deciding his fate.

Throughout his time in the league, Hill has made an impact on both the Chiefs and the Dolphins’ organizations and will be greatly missed when he retires, as many fans highlight.

Good for him!!! Sorry to see his talents leave the NFL but when u can do anything on your own terms then that’s the meaning of success!!! Hopefully he will have a SB Ring from his current team to send him into retirement as a Champion!!!

Hill has a Super Bowl ring from his time with the Chiefs, and this fan hopes that Hill will be able to get another with the Dolphins.

One of the biggest knocks from many fans and analysts is the Dolphins’ quarterback situation, given Tua Tagovailoa’s concussions as of late.

One fan cited that Tagovailoa is the reason that Hill is even considering retiring in the first place after just one season with him.

During this interview, Hill called out many reasons for potentially leaving the league, including a gaming company and spending more time with his family.
