The New York Jets have been in quarterback purgatory for a long time.
Every time they draft a quarterback, it seems to not work out.
That has once again been the case with 2021 first-round pick Zach Wilson.
Wilson has been terrible throughout his NFL career, and the Jets are looking to move on.
But, to do so the Jets need to have another starter in place.
That is where Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers comes into play.
Rodgers has already said that he wants to play for the Jets in 2023, but the deal has yet to be completed.
Jets fan and ESPN personality Mike Greenberg has the utmost confidence that Rodgers will be a Jet.

Anything short of Rodgers with the Jets would be a major embarrassment for the franchise.
This has been the most talked about potential trade in NFL history.
If it falls through most Jets fans will be unable to forgive their front office.
While Rodgers will certainly make the Jets contenders, to say they will win the AFC is a stretch.
The conference is loaded with elite quarterbacks and teams, and the Jets would also be the most inexperienced team of the bunch.
While Rodgers may only play one or two more seasons, Jets fans want him as their quarterback.
New York has not made the playoffs since 2010, and Rodgers is hoping to help bring that drought to an end.
