The Washington Commanders have finally been sold.

Even though the deal has not been finalized yet, it is in place to have Dan Snyder sell the team to an ownership group led by Josh Harris.

Harris is already the owner of the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers.

Now he will own a team in three of the four major sports in America.

Many Commanders fans have been waiting for this deal for a long time.

They do not care who buys the team, as long as Snyder is out.

He has been a terrible owner for the Commanders, and the legal issues he is facing were the final straw.

Snyder is being investigated for financial impropriety and sexual harassment within his franchise.

Also, on the field, the Commanders have not been successful and their facilities are some of the worst in the sport.

Commanders fans are thrilled that Snyder is gone they went as far as making shirts.

According to BreakingT, these new shirts are being sold to commemorate the historic day.

I SURVIVED THE SNYDER ERA.

DC is a football town again. Wear it loud, wear it proud.

Harris will have his hands full with the Commanders, but at least he will be supported by the fanbase.

Anyone that took over for Snyder would have been welcomed with open arms.

It will be interesting to see the first steps taken for Harris as the new owner.

With the NFL Draft coming up in two weeks, that might be a great place for him to start.
