The Carolina Panthers have their eyes set on selecting their franchise quarterback first overall.
You do not trade up from ninth overall to first to not select a quarterback.
But, who they will take is still very much in question.
The two favorites to be selected first are Alabama quarterback Bryce Young and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud.
Both are seen as the two top options in this draft class.
One other quarterback who is flying under the radar is Kentucky’s Will Levis.
The Panthers are set to have visits with both Stroud and Levis to get a closer look at both prospects.
According to NFL Network, the two quarterbacks will visit the Panthers on Tuesday.

With two weeks until draft day, the Panthers should have a good idea of who they plan to select first.
But, these last few visits could help sway them one way or the other.
Carolina has the future of their franchise weighing on this pick.
If they miss, it will set their team back years.
But, hitting on a future star could have the Panthers in playoff contention as soon as next season.
Playing in the NFC South, it will not take much to compete.
That is the worst division in football, and the Panthers are only a QB away from making a run.
New head coach Frank Reich will have a lot on his plate next season.
But, finding a way to make a run at the division title should be at the top of his list.
